Select current ext in button not working if selected

Post by *bogordo »

Hi,

I have a .pdf selected and press Alt+ Num+ = all .pdf are selected, if i have the same situation but use the button with cm_SelectCurrentExtension command i get "Not matches found" error message, don't understand...thus, this button-command works only if i have hovered/pre-selected the .pdf file, if it is selected does not work (but works with Alt + Num+), any explanation?

Thank you,

Not confirmed with TC 9.51 RC6 x86/x64. For me both working fine ...
It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

Not confirmed
With a previous selection or without the button always correctly selects all files with the same extension.
I guess you have some strange parameters set for the button, there should be none of course.

Not using parameters, only the 527 as command...(TC 9.51 RC6)

Ok, found, having "Open files and directories with a single click" is causing the issue, if deactivated, the button works fine from selected files, as with Alt + Num+. The problem is (again, as with Petermad "Show only files with same extension" command), that when i select a file and move the cursor to the button in the horizontal bar, the preselection box (how is this called??) goes and stays at "...\", so here the message error. I have to select, press and mantain pressed Ctrl to not move the cursor preselection :?

So maybe is time to set the SingleClickStart=5 as Petermad told me (sadly losing the "visual feedback" of moving the cursor hover the files).

Thank you,
