Maybe it's so ugly because the screenshot was saved as JPG rather than PNG.
Your colors is ok for me, but where are frames?
There is nothing to laugh about here.Paul Mountit wrote: ↑2020-04-19, 20:50 UTCI really think that for this kind of image the file format doesn't make any difference

How old are you? Do you use glasses?
Which color (of many blurred colors) should I pick for TC? Is there any proper color saved at all?
like Roman said.
I don't think that was the point of the images. The image with the frames shows frames as they currently are in TC, you don't need an image to check that. The image without the frames does not have any frames to check. If I can' t check the real color of any element (including frames), I can't be sure which of them is generated by TC and which one is passed by the system.

And some pixels may be artifacts of lossy compression. Some people use an option to sharpen image which may generate fake borders between areas filled with different colors.

Using shades of blue color is not recommended for dark style.
And you can use more styles for both normal and dark mode, if you wish, just redirect needed sections of wincmd.ini to other files. See this topic: https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=54949&p=363265#p363265
