Hello,
I have a small issue with the scaling of Total Commander when I'm in the settings. The scale factor is set to 150% in the Windows 10 Settings, but in some some setting pages of Total Commander this results in an overlay of writing, which can be horizontal or vertical. The font is set to Calibri in size 12. If the setting window would be bigger or rezisable this could easily work and there is still lots of space on the screen.
I just installed TC on a new Windows Installation without any changes. My Windows scale is 200%. When I view a file in Lister, it's half the text size. Why is it not scaled properly?
That's because Windows is missing the larger size of the stock ANSI fixed font. You need to choose a different font for such high DPI. Unfortunately all the standard fixed fonts are rather ugly, so I don't want to switch away from ANSI fixed font by default.
Thanks for the explanation. I think the font Consolas (Standard Terminal-Font on Windows 10) and 'Lucica Console' are okay but that's of course something quite subjective.
That's still no solution. TC's lister fails to use the right fonts when changing between standard and 4k resolution. I had set it to Consolas while using the laptop's screen (Windows 200%). Now back on my standard monitor (100%) the font in Lister has double the size. I have to set it back to 'Standard' manually. Reason might be that TC stores not onle the font type but also the currernt font size, and doesn't adapt that size when changing monitor resolutions.
