Is there an plugin for browsing a password-protected http site (directory listing)?

Post by *pippolo »

Hello I'm trying to browse the following https (password protected) site: https://ftp.lstc.com/user with total commander.

I tried HTTP browser, the HTTP SmartBrowser plugins for Total Commander, and the more recent https://totalcmd.net/plugring/https_browser.html plugins.

But no one of the plugins seem to be working, in particular no password is requested to me when entering the site, and no files/dirs are shown. If instead I open the link with a standard browser, the credentials are asked, and the folder structure is correct.

Any suggestion? How could I browse the site with total commander?
Thanks in advance

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Hello, I got no reply, but I'm still interested.

Could I browse a password-protected site (for instance: https://ftp.lstc.com/user ) with total commander? Or would you suggest using an alternative software?

Thank you
