unpacking *.eslock files does not work any more

Post by *waldfee77 »

For two years now I have been using TC for android on my Samsumg S7.
My android version is 8.0.0.
The TC version is 3.0.
***
Some files in a separate folder on the phone's main memory I used to pack with the ZIP-function of Total Commander simultaneously encrypting them.
While working fine for years now there appeared a problem a week ago: I can't decrypt the files anymore (*.eslock type).

I was able to unpack the zip-folder created by TC to individual files but they are still encrypted. Decrypting ends with the error message: not enough memory to write. This happens regardless of whether I want to decrypt one single file only (less than 1 MB) or the whole bunch in the separate folder (as I could do before). There is definetely enough memory available for that operation.

Maybe this is something to do with the latest update to version 3.0 ?

Thanks in advance for help and hints.

Does it work when you rename the file to filename.zip? TC doesn't support extension .eslock - maybe it was created by a different app?
