Wrong data types for new strings in TC 10.50 32-bit

Post by *Usher »

1. Add Russian or Ukrainian language to TC.
2. Run TC 32-bit.
3. Open "Configuration -> Options", go to "Language" settings, switch to freshly added Russian or Ukrainian language and click "Apply".
3. Go to "Tabstops/Data formats" settings and you will see what is wrong.
New strings 5450 and 5452-5455 are displayed as mojibake.

5451="Se&parators"
5452="Date:"
5453="Time:"
5454="Thousands:"
5455="Decimal:"
Only string 5451 is displayed properly.

Now close Options with Russian still in use, select two files and run "Files -> Compare files by content" from the main menu. You should see that the new "Sync" button is filled with question marks. It's a new string
6224="S&ync:"
Note that in difres1050 there is no mention that the string should be shortened:

6224="S&ync:"
Tested in Windows XP and Windows 7. Similar problem was reported for TC 10 here: viewtopic.php?p=401936

Confirmed, thanks - the 64-bit version doesn't seem to be affected, though.
