Active file changes when switching Custom View Modes

Post by *funkymonk »

TC 10.51rc2 x32 *fresh install* @ Win10x64:
  • In Configuration -> View Mode: Create two Custom View Modes (e.g., t1, t2) both with Columns View = Thumbnail View
  • In a folder with some files: Activate one of the CVMs (e.g., t1) and click any file.
  • Activate the other CVM (i.e., t2) --> the active file changes (in my case TC seems to always select a file in the first row) --> BUG?
  • Activate the first CVM again (t1) --> the active file changes to the very first entry "[..]" --> BUG?
This is just a working example. The effect also shows up with other CVMs when switching between them.

Shouldn't the active file stay the same when switching CVMs?

It should actually keep the previous file focused. It seems that this scenario was not expected, so the cursor positioning is wrong.
