(CTRL + A) don't work in quick search

Post by *olm »

Keyboard shortcut for select all (CTRL + A) don't work in quick search. I'm using 10.50 and I think that in previous version it works.

Confirmed also in version 10.51, but only in 64 bits version.

32 bits version vorks fine.

even Right Click "select all" is not working.
[ctrl]+A set cursor to the beginning of the field instead of selecting all.

I can confirm all of this.

It stopped working in TC 10.50b5

Confirmed. Maybe it has to do with that "fix" in b5:

Code: Select all

08.05.22 Fixed: Ctrl+A in edit controls or the edit box part of comboboxes would clear the edit box when using auto-append for that edit box, e.g. in the F5 copy dialog (32/64)

Ctrl+A: confirmed fixed in TC10.52rc1 64-bit.

That no longer worked in the 64-bit version since TC8.50. (worked OK in TC8.01 64-bit)

Unfortunately I cannot fix that. I'm disabling select all sent by the system because it breaks certain Asian text input via IME. The right click "select all" sends the same message as this broken input.

Indeed I'm now disabling it only when using Chinese, Japanese or Korean input.
