What about a package in that form:
wdx_file_directory.zip
Contents:
wdx_directory_version_x.y.z.zip
wdx_file_version_x.y.z.zip

pluginst.inf of Directory:
defaultdir=file_directory

pluginst.inf of File:
defaultdir=file_directory

So one could be sure, allways to have all files together and allways the newest version of each one.
Additionally if I click to open wdx_file_directory.zip and see both zip files and open them one after the other will install both plugins into the same subdir plugins\file_directory.

(not the freshest posting here, but seem to be the official thread )
--------
File 1.20,TC 8.51a 32, Win 7x64

I use the command "Is_in_filelist" and it works very fine, but it does not refresh the filelist when I change it.

- define filelist with content "a"
- Start searchmenu
- select filelist
- search: files based on "content a" were found
- change filelist with content "b", save it
- Start searchmenu
- select filelist
- search: files based on "content a" were found again

I have to restart TC to search the files based on "content b".

Any ideas to refresh it in another way?

After some years I tried it again - and failed

Win 10 64 bit, TC32/64 10.50, File 1.30

For testing a made a file which contains Windows files:

Code: Select all

c:\Windows\System32\ndadmin.exe
c:\Windows\System32\NDKPing.exe
c:\Windows\System32\net.exe
c:\Windows\System32\net1.exe
c:\Windows\System32\netbtugc.exe
c:\Windows\System32\netcfg.exe
c:\Windows\System32\NetCfgNotifyObjectHost.exe
c:\Windows\System32\NetEvtFwdr.exe
c:\Windows\System32\NetHost.exe
c:\Windows\System32\netiougc.exe
c:\Windows\System32\Netplwiz.exe
c:\Windows\System32\netsh.exe
I defined a search with
- no standard settings
- Plugins: search in Plugins / Plugin: file / is in List / Operator: > / Value: nothing /filelist_win.txt

Depending on the operator I get no files or all files - but no relation to my defined filelist.

What's going wrong?

Thanks and regards!

I think I found it:
The Filelist is a list for files and not for full-path. Removing the paths from the entries brings results - but of course also files on different paths.
