TC 10.52 64 bit - Incorrect packing of files into a RAR archive.

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC 10.52 64 bit - Incorrect packing of files into a RAR archive.

Post by *iteg »

The output file is not surrounded by quotes when packing files into a RAR archive. As a result, if there are spaces in the path, the archive is created with the path up to the space. A message is displayed with the text "Error packing files!".Packing is done with the keys ALT+F5.

Try using winrar.exe instead of rar.exe. TC must be recognizing it as a 16-bit program and try to pass 8.3 (8 name,3 extension max) names without quotes to it, but your drive doesn't seem to support 8.3 names any more.
