Turning off 'verification' when copy/rename executes

Post by *miskox »

With F5 or F6 there is an option to check 'verify'. Is it possible to turn this verification off during the copy/rename operation? If not then I would suggest adding this option.

(latest TC 32-bit)

Thanks.

I don't understand the problem - as you write yourself: "there is an option to check 'verify'" - so just make sure that it is not checked ?

petermad,
I assume it's about turning it off during the copy operation, i.e., after the copy operation already started and you realized you don't want to verify the data.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Aha - during an ongoing copy/move operation - then the question makes sense - and no it is not currently possible.

2petermad: yes, during the copy/rename operation. This post is also a feature request to implement this.

For example: I have a new HDD and I want to copy/move lots of files so I start the copy/move operation with the 'verify=on' and after a while I see that everything is OK I decide to turn the verification off.
