solved [TC 11.00b4] "Show last visited directory closest to the middle of the list" does not work in 64bit TC

Post by *petermad »

In the 64bit version of TC the new option in the History config:
"Show last visited directory closest to the middle of the list"

does not have any effect - it works in the 32bit version

It does work once you have configured it (either manually or via 32-bit), just the configuration dialog doesn't work.
There is also a typo in the variable, ShowLastVisiedInMiddle instead of ShowLastVisitedInMiddle.

or via 32-bit
My 32bit and 64bit TC are in separate directories and don't share the ini file.

There is also a typo in the variable, ShowLastVisiedInMiddle instead of ShowLastVisitedInMiddle.
I can confirm that if I manually add ShowLastVisiedInMiddle=1 in wincmd, ini for the 64bit version then it works.

But it does not show as enabled in the History options page, and it can not be changed from there either.

If I manually insert ShowLastVisitedInMiddle=1 in the 64bit version it neither works or is configurable via the History options.

The 32bit version does not work with manually added ShowLastVisitedInMiddle=1, but if I use the History options to configure it, then ShowLastVisiedInMiddle=1 is added to wincmd.ini.

That's exactly the bug, I ported the function from 32-bit to 64-bit, but missed porting its configuration.

Confirmed fixed in TC 11.00b5 :-)
