DateTime issue: time is different by 1 second on usb stick

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

DateTime issue: time is different by 1 second on usb stick

Post by *ebolax »

I recently copy some files to my usb stick and some files' time is different by 1 second. Is it normal?

Your flash drive is FAT32 formatted. FAT and FAT32 uses 2 second precision for files modification time so it's always rounded to even seconds.
No bug, normal NTFS -> FAT copy behaviour
