Change content of installation files without any further information

The installation files for the 64bit-version of TC 11.00 were altered on 2023-08-03 after publishing the initial files on 2023-08-02.
The reason was a missing signature of the file TotalCmd64.exe in the installation.
There is no notice of this change on the website with the links (https://www.ghisler.com/download.htm).
The version number remains the same, the only hint can be found by searching the forum (viewtopic.php?t=79770).
The update function of TC also recognize no change.
I think, this is not a proper way to publish software changes, as there is no way to check for the last and valid version.
Please add a comment in the future, when the installation files are altered without changes to the version. Maybe the addition of the file dates for the install files could be possible.

Principal you are right, but what's the problem here ?
The correction was made short after the initial release,
not many users would already download the wrong version, mostly beta users which read the forums.
No harm occurs having the old version.
If some tool or admin complains, it's just a new download and re-install.

Most users are unaffected by the unsigned executable, it's usually only relevant for the installer. The only users affected are those with certain virus scanners, and those where a company policy only allows signed apps. Also replacing the installer as quickly as possible was more important than preparing a new release, which usually takes a few weeks.
