[wish] concerning the cursor frame

Post by *Raymond »

Here is my file panel looks like, and it's not Dark mode by the way. The cursor is a rectangular frame as I prefer.

The problem is, whenever I use Quick Search, the cursor turns into dashed frame and, as you can see, it's hard to tell, especially when there're lots of longname files out there.

If the cursor frame remains "normal" instead of turning into a dashed one while Quick Searching, it will be good enough for me.
Could we do that in the future, please?

Raymond,
Does InactiveFocus= do anything for your situation by any chance?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I tried using inactive focus to obtain a more visible cursor while d0ing a QuickSearch, but i turns out that it is not the same cursor, the cursor during QuickSearch is apparently hardcoded to being dotted with the default cursor color or inverted with the selected cursor color

Thanks for trying.

There're some ways to get around it, such as toggle the filter by Ctrl+S or set the window seperator to 100% percent to make the cursor more visiable.
Still, under some circumstances it's not that convenient.
