File comments editor: Editing multiple selected files - next/previous (like lister)

Post by *hi5 »

When you select multiple files and open Lister you can view the files using << next/previous >>. Very useful.

My suggestion is that this method could be implemented in "Edit File Comments" as well.
The next/previous buttons could be top right just like in lister, alt+n/alt+p could act as next previous shortcuts here.

If the comment is edited, add a * to the title bar of the editor so you can see it is not yet saved, and when going next/previous ask if you want to save the changes.

This is not about adding the same comment to multiple files which you can do via the 'Change attributes, plugins (tc comments >>)'
F4MiniMenu (Forum) - Open selected file(s) from TC in defined editor(s) - A (minimalistic) clone of F4Menu
Source at GitHub (AutoHotkey). TCSyncComments (copy file comments)

In Multi Comment Edit, this is implemented as a drop-down list, which speeds up access to the desired file compared to file-by-file switching.
In addition, there are options for adding to the beginning/end, inserting adjacent comments, data from content plugins and saving templates for quick insertion.
