Post by *krasusczak »

Hello,

Do we need

Code: Select all

SIZE!.TXT Information about changed program size
&

Code: Select all

tckeyhandler.dll (Obsolete) Handle ESC and TAB keys in Explorer preview in Lister
since we dont have those files anymore? (x86 installation, I didn't check rest)

More correct question here should be - WHY installer did not made a cleaning procedure?
Why it lefts these files intact? If we for 10000% know already that these files are completely unnecessary?

TC installers job is not to "cleanup" :!:

Currently the installer does not have the capability to remove any files. I don't think that it should remove the SIZE!.TXT file from older installations.

why? we for sure know that this or maybe a few others files - ARE wrong for current installation.
So they should be removed. Obviously that the USER will not carefully read some accompanying text
from somewhere where You can in a simple form describe which files and for what reasons could be
removed by user. So definitely the installer should take care of the proper content of the installation
folder by itself.

TC installers job is not to "cleanup"
obviously that we already must add something.
