Bug introduced in 11.00, Alt-F7 Search loses buffered keystrokes

"b" is shown and selected instead of "a".

And the 'selected' is the problem *) and the difference to 10.52?

Correct. As I have mentioned in previous posts in this thread, I am often searching for something like *searchstring*. I am a touch typist who has been using Total Commander for years and years back to the Windows Commander days and I even grew up with the original Norton Commander on DOS. I just type these things by muscle memory and now these searches fail because the leading asterisk (and any other characters I press before dialog load) are selected and overwritten.

I wasn't able to reproduce the problem with my daily settings, but I was able to reproduce it with a fresh ini. I will try to find the reason.
