File in Sysnative is not found with Alt+F7 under Tc 32 within path c:\windows:

- Was it always like this?
- New bug?

No problem with this alt+F7-search within path c:\windows\sysnative

Sorry, can't remember.

Yes, it was always like this. SysNative isn't a visible subdirectory in the Windows directory, Total Commander just shows it because accessing c:\windows\SysNative does actually work. The search function does not add SysNative when listing c:\windows, so it doesn't go there either. Currently it's not planned to add this.

Does this mean in practice that the Alt+F7 search in c:\windows only makes sense with Tc64? Okay, I'll take note of that.

TC searches in Sysnative when it's selected before pressing Alt+F7. The same applies to other virtual directories like catroot and so on.

In this case "selected" means marked (red by default) by the Ins key. In other words: If you select everything in C:\Windows by pressing Num* or Ctrl+A, the SysNative folder gets selected and subsequently searched by TC.
