Difference between info displayed when copying and synchronizing

Post by *Galizza »

The information displayed on the screen while copying files (F5) is different from when synchronizing the same files.

When copying, the current file number and the amount of data copied so far are displayed, but when synchronizing the same files, the window shows additional information:

Current file number / Total files to copy
Amount of data currently copied so far / Total data to copy.

Is this the default, or is there a setting in Wincmd.ini that allows this additional information to be displayed while copying files ?

Thanks.

While copying you can click on the copy info in the bottom of the dialog, that will toggle between showing the files/bytes processed and the files/bytes remaining.

Thanks for your response. In any case, it's a bit incongruous that more information is displayed during synchronization than during file copying.

Obviously, it's not a space issue, as both windows are similarly sized.

I hope Christian will consider the possibility, even if it's optional, of allowing us to access the same information in both windows. I personally find this additional information very useful.

Regards.
