I hope this is the right place to post it, rather than posting a new thread. Seems to me the most relevant one to reply to.
I have just recently sought such an option and found this parameter.
I placed UnZIPSeparateSubdirs under [Packer] (I made sure that there was none before).
I tried all different values according to the help, and I discovered that on all options (including default, also without having the parameter in the INI file) the selection/deselection is not retained.
I know that I used the correct parameter (exact string with upper/lowercase - copied from the help), since the checkbox state did change according to the value's basic function.
I am not sure if this worked before and if/when it was broken, but I have just noticed it.
It happened regardless if I completed the operation (extraction) or not, and whether I used a single (highlighted or not) or multiple zip files.

Confirmed.
Seems to be the case since version 11.00 b5. Perhaps due to this change:

Confirmed. I wanted to turn saving off when using cm_UnpackFiles with parameters, but accidentally turned it off also when there were no parameters.
