When I copy or delete files using the Explorer method, it shows me the progress of it, although only during the first time.
(Explorer method: see Configuration -> Options -> Copy/Delete -> 'Use copy+paste via Explorer' + 'Use Explorer delete method')
When I do this for a second (or third, etc.) time, it will not show me any progress anymore, and thus continue copying those files in a 'silent mode' instead, meaning that there is no visible background process.
Furthermore, the dialog boxes for replacing (or skipping) files are also different in either 'mode'.
I can send you sample pictures (in .png) for either the first copy command and for the other copying commands when warning about overwriting a file.
When I close TC and open it again, it does it once again the first time right and thereafter as a 'silent background process'. It turns out that this applies to both copying and deleting via the Explorer method, as I believe.
Tested on Windows 11 24H2 (OS build: 26100.4351) with TC 11.55RC6/7.

The Explorer copy mode is handled by the Explorer (who would have guessed that) and is entirely outside of my influence.

Latest update: It actually turns out that this 'strange' behavior is caused by the latest Windows update 'KB5063060'.
On another system, I first updated to TC 11.55RC7, then everything was still working as it should. Then I installed update 'KB5063060', causing the same behavior as mentioned before.

I can confirm that they broke it. There is nothing I can do.
It's not even a Total Commander specific problem, it happens in any program using the "File open" dialog, e.g. in notepad.exe. Just switch to viewing all files, then do a Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V on a big file twice. Notepad becomes unresponsive until the file has been copied.
