Add parameter ActiveTabColor to the colors section [Colors] of your wincmd.ini - for example:

Code: Select all

[Colors]
ActiveTabColor=8388608
Help wrote:[Colors]
ActiveTabColor=-1 Color of active tab, RGB value, -1=disabled

(RGB: red+256*green+65536*blue, each value in range 0..255, or hex in form $BBGGRR)

I'm afraid the OP's question did aim at changing the text-color of the active tab though - not its background. And that's - if at all possible - a much trickier task. I would assume that this is a "themed-color" and as such would have to be changed in Windows itself - with possibly untenable side-effects on the main-Windows-appearance. The only change I've observed so far occurred at a general switch from light (text-color: black) to dark mode (whitish text-color).
