Lister does not reload images

Windows 11 25H2, TC 11.56 64-bit
Needed to check contents of a .bmp file after overwriting it.
Nothing happens for F2 or the menu item - had to use Esc and F3.

Confirmed - and it does not matter whether the image is viewed witw the internal viewer or a plugin.

Workaround instead of using Esc and F3 is to click "Plugins" in the menu and then click on the marked plugin - or for example Alt+P -> Enter to reload in the internal viewer

This is not a new thing - I can track it back to TC 7.00 - but whether it is a bug or a missing feature - it would be nice if it worked for images too.

Indeed F2 only works in one of the text modes. It's rather uncommon that an image changes by itself, while it's quite common for text files (e.g. log files). That's probably why no one has requested it so far.

What you can do is switch to text or binary mode (press 1, 2 or 3), then press F2, and then switch back to mode 4.

I can easily add it for the internal image viewer, but it could be problematic for plugins because they may be handling F2 internally.

I already discovered this. Even more, 3 plus 4 is sufficient combination - F2 not needed here, and maybe the same would be for plugins on reload.
