POP3/SMTP v1.20 plug-in

Post by *DRP535 »

Is it possible to stop this plug-in from re-reading the mailbox contents after viewing every single message?

It's really time-consuming and annoying.

Thanks,

Do you use an external or internal viewer?
Usually a refresh is peformed only when you press "Reread source" or when TC gets back its lost focus...
Maybe this helps: Add "NoReread=\" in TC's IniFile.
Browse the web with the HTTP SmartBrowserPlugin
Check your mails with the POP3/SMTP EmailPlugin!

Thanks, I was just double-clicking which launched NotePad to view them. I see now that F3 will view them without the re-read.

Cheers,

Unfortunately that doesn't work. I already have ARW as drive designators in that line. I would like to add something to prevent this plug-in doing the same rereading thing, but I can't get it to work. I've tried \ and \\\ in there but neither works.

Hm - I suppose it ('\') works only with network shares and not with plugins :-(
I could add a caching function but this would mean to provide an extra option to force a real refresh (reread)...
