Copy

Post by *frenky »

Hi,
Is it possible to for copy dialog to be extended with few options:

1. Add checkbox yes for all questions (e.g. overwrite..)
2. When copying list errors rather then popup dialog for which you have to choose action, and thus be next to the computer all the time during copy process...
E.g. Copy form several network drives as queue task. Second network drive goes offline during copy form the first one, dialog openens saying file is not accessible, and copy does not proecede...

Probably not a problem to implement?

Thanks

frenky,
Welcome aboard!

#1. How would you want to extend the Options button?

#2. Yes, that has been requested several times already.

Where's the poll, by the way? ;)

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Silly me...
#1. How would you want to extend the Options button?
Well, the Option button is ok for owerwrite and questions when it comes to destination files, but also add something for source files. Like:
"Skip unaccessible source files but list errors"

Than errors could be listed in separate window that would only open if there is something to report...

And maybe make this section defaultable...

Thanks again & sorry for wrong group on my first post!!
