No GB size unit displayed

Post by *panos78 »

I have a question about the displayed size unit GB.
Even if the file/folders are bigger than 1GB, the size unit is counted in MB.
Is this a bug or I am doing sth wrong?

Here in the german forum is a similar question asked:
translation of Reddy wrote:The total size of (selected) files are displayed in the status line (and other parts) in Bytes, Kbytes, MegaBytes but not in Gigabyte. I. e. if I select files with total size of 2 GB it's not displayed as 2 GB but as 2048 MB. Could this be changed anyhow?
translation of @ghisler wrote: No, but next Total Commander (7.0) will have 2 separate options with and without GB. It is already implemented and being tested by me

Hi,

alternatively you could try my content plugin DirSizeCalc. It provides flexible file size displaying including GB.
