[Button Bar Icons] X-Qute 1.60

Post by *X-Byte »

Hi,

I've created an icon set for use with Total Commander's Button Bar.
This icon set is based on Arvid Axelsson's Qute theme for an old Firefox version.
Additional icons are created by me (X-Byte)

The icon set is provided with a sample Button Bar file for easy installation & use. Also comes with a TC7+ compatible .inc file for easy command association.

Read the included X-Qute_ReadMe.txt for further information on usage and installation!

The icons are created for use with Windows 8/7/XP/2000 (alpha channel) with
32x32 pixel and 16x16 pixel which also scale nice at 24x24 pixel.

I can provide larger scaled versions of the icons if there's a special need for that.

If you need additional button icons, feel free to request them here in this thread.

Latest changes

They are beautiful! Similar to Thunderbird icons. Thank you!

The ICL seems to be corrupted somehow, when I open it with ICLView only the first icon is shown. What program have you used to create it, maybe you can correct that?

Otherwise nice job, thanks. :)

:) Hello Jeff !

- You are a lucky guy, cause it's worse here : I don't see any icon with ICLView, even striking "4NUM"...
It works in XnView 1.80.3, though…

I don't see any icon with ICLView
Me neither (ICLView 1.94a) - And with ICLRead 1.2 - I get an errorbox: "Error in packed file..."

It works OK in the "Change button bar" -> "Icon" field though.

Do you have the latest version installed, 25.9.2005?

ICLRead packer plugin doesn't work too on the ICL, it says "Error in packed file".

Yep, they have some similarity to the Thunderbird default icons, cause they're also done by the creator of the Firefox Qute Theme ;)

I used Icon Sushi (http://www.towofu.net/soft/e-aicon.php)to arrange the icons in an Icon library (icl)
I haven't tried to view the created icl with ICLRead/ICLview though... it was sufficient for me that the icl works for TC's button bar.
I've tried it now with the plugins and get the same results. Looking at the hexcode, it seems the header is different from other icl files.
Question is, is it icon sushi that creates malformed icl libraries or is it the Plugins that simply don't know about this variation?

Thanks for your comments and that you like them, I enjoyed creating & sharing them!

I have tried to open the file with Microangelo Librarian and got an error message. I really think sushi produces icon sushi but no icon libraries :D

Thanks for the nice icons! :)

 Good one... If you've got an icl converter at hands that produces a correct icl file from png files, I'd appreciate a link to it ;)

I have mailed the icon sushi developers about the problem, let's wait and see...

Till now I have created ICLs with IconShop or ICLView but both can not import PNG. So, as soon this bug is fixed, I will switch to icon sushi, very neat app. :)
