Maybe the cause is some crude configuration hassle on my machine, but before doing a detailled search for the possible cause I'd like to know if anybody can reproduce this...

Oh, damn! This brings mo to a point I didn't think about until now:How do you check if the plugin is unloaded or still loaded?
