Because?
IMHO unicode is greater problem. No comment needed here. I know where Ghisler stands here

It should remain there for better handling and at least for consistence.
better handling ???
what is exactly better with cancel button ?
- The button is *much* bigger than the small [X] in upper right corner, so it's easier to click on.
- You have a second shortcut to cancel operation / close the dialog.

you can't be serious ?

second shortcut ?
much bigger button ? I hope you don't have this problem with other [x] buttons on other regular windows....

And what about confusion it makes. I usualy have to think about 2 second what and where too click when that window appear. The current dialog is disaster.

*rotfl* as there are SOO many 64Bit Apps for Win that it amkes sense to use that...
If Vista will come with a 32Bit Version...

A copy dialog that would allow to preset options would be worthwhile as well, where you could predesignate skip-all or overwrite-all, append, or even how to rename a conflicted file.

[Edit] Guess there is a dialog [Options] already, though isn't exactly obvious on how the Auto-Rename checkboxes work...maybe buried in the help file somewhere. [/Edit]

I just realised how funny must be that we all seem to have folder named 1 somewhere on c or d..... even with recursion like in last case.

I personally like much more Flint's design of dialog, sorry majki. At first sight I found it interesting, but then it reminded me behaviour of MS "personalized menus" that I really hate :?

I hate personalized menus also.

With my dialog I didnt want to show you complete solution. That was IDEA ! I like the principle in which things are more organised and obvious, yet keeping everything as fast as possible. I was up to do something more useful, more keyboard, and compatibile with current dialog HABITS.

But I guess I will not now.

@ghisler:
Christian, you didn't comment this request, although the fix seems to be wanted by several members.

So Once again: [img]http://img309.imageshack.us/img309/5091/sshot13lx.png[/img]

Lesmo16 wrote:BTW: The shortcut for the button "Umbennenen" is missing in German version!
Sheepdog gave me the advice how to fix this. This flaw shouldn't exist in further releases, right?

Sorry but when Changing please like Flinks Dialog and add a Button for Rename Target and a Button with the Possibility to compare the files.

OK, I will tell you how I have solved it in TC 7.0: There is one additional button "More options>>" in the lower right of the dialog, which will open a popup menu containing additional not so much used options like "Compare by content" or "Rename existing target". This way the dialog isn't cluttered with many new buttons, and there is space for additional commands as well.

And what about Lesmo16's suggestion about buttons reorganizing and about mine with icons? This would help a lot to recognize buttons at a glance.
