Ah I forgot a complete memory dump would be nice - preferred sqx compressed.

The sqx setup doesn't seem to be of importance - I can reproduce the bug with a clean TotalSQX.ini

If I enter text in the "Archive Comment" or tick the "Add archive comment" tickbox everything works OK - it is ONLY if I do NOTHING in the "Archive Comment" that the bug appears.

Correction: If I enter text and then remove the automatically placed tickmark in the tickbox - then I also get the error.

I just tested with a clean wincmd.ini - the bug is still there - so it should be easy for you to reproduce.

But maybe it is OS related. IIRC Xtrician, Sheepdog, Stitscher and myself all use XP SP2

Yes if not ticked---

:) Hello Stefan !
Maybe it's related to the Tickbox 'Archivkommentar hinzufügen'.
If I check this box I can click okay without any error. if it is not checked TC crashes.
¤ Right ! Confirmed here with the 1.04 when the box "Add (an) archive comment" is not ticked.
- I have reset 1.03, and nothing happens either ticked or not, the packing works normally.
- I tested too with "Normal" and "Solid" archive, same.
XP-Pro SP1

Well to be honest it wasn't really difficult to reproduce the bug. I took a great pleasure out of your detailed reports. :D
I hope you are not too angry with me

Thanks for your help :)

I guess you mean your pack problems, right?
Would you be so kind and finally provide your Totalsqx.ini and a set of files which result in this error. Thanks!
