You can turn off the refresh when TC gets activated (Configuration - Options - Refresh - upper part), then the list will not be re-sorted every time the program gets the focus.

No Refresh for these Drives - CHECK
Put Added files at the end of the file list - CHECK
Don't react to updates while in the background - CHECK
Total Commander behavior: Select one file, ctrl-C, ctrl-V, a new file with the same name + suffix "- Copy" is created, but NOT ADDED AT THE END OF THE LIST, as expected. Is there any way to make it put all the copies (or any new files in the folder, regardless their provenience) at the end of the list?
Thank you for such a great program and hopefully Total Commander will become perfect when this will work

Add at the end only affects files which are created outside of Total Commander while TC is in the foreground. TC forces a refresh after Ctrl+V even if you have "No Refresh for these Drives" checked.

I understand... It's just the problem isn't the refresh. Refresh is good, auto-sort is bad. It would be very useful to just add the new files at the end, and not auto-sort them until I check, rename, edit, (or whatever else) them. It's pretty bad, for example, when you unzip something into a folder and the files in the archive get mixed with the original folder content. And I could give you many examples for which I prefer this behaviour with no auto-sort until re-enter or refresh the content. Refresh is good as long as it just makes sure we see all the current files and we don't miss the new files. But auto-sort is at best unuseful... it's annoying, if not counter-productive in many cases.
