FTP upload on background change?

It's a pity.

There is a huge community of web developers that would appreciate it.

Saving files on the background would be optional. Or this can be implemented with plugin installed at user's risk lol.

I really don't understand why it is so big issue..

i offered to buy 10+ licenses (although i have already) to cover the extra time spent on this update, yet Cristian did not seem interested.
As he said, it's not easy, therefor not a priority (:evil:)

At this moment 2300+ views of this thread only show that people look for solution of this problem i.e they miss this feature.

Try TC 8.50beta.

- FTP/file system plugins: When editing a file with F4, the file will automatically be re-uploaded when saved in the editor. No need to close the editor any more. Change via Edit/View options.

- Auto re-upload of files to FTP or file system plugin when saved (F3/F4) is now disabled by default, user will be asked on first use whether he wants to enable it

The first time you close the editor you will be asked if you want to enable the auto upload feature.
