Suggestion: Just make it configurable, e.g. via an additional item "configure" in the list - check the http browser plugin to see how this can be done. The user could then decide whether to show wav or mp3s in the list, and choose the bit rate for the mp3s. When you allow only fixed bit rate, the file size can be calculated in advance!

P.S. Nice plugin!

Sooner whole I so and shall do - an user itself will choose the type of the view track in TC panel.
But with determination of the exact size of the file can be a problems, when use VBR particularly.
Nice plugin
Will still better!

Yes, you cannot get the exact size in this case. I suggest that you show the approximate size - this is only possible for the progress bar, where you need to report the wrong size too.

I've already written about it, but maybe it has been forgotten among other bugs and requests... ;-)

If the album is not in the cddb base I must type the titles of the tracks myself.
It wolud be nice if when I change the name of the track, the name of the Album, the Year and so on - I could copy the values from the current one (eg. the first one) to the others. Very often, almost all of them are the same, only the name of the track is changing.

:D I've always believed you can do it... :-)

... but...

.. something is wrong with the Polish translation - the used code page is wrong - as I've compared (using TC  ) the old and the new .lng file - it has different code page. :-(

Some bugs

Post by *djk »

And several really small bugs (probably they have already been in previous versions):

1. While you are in Tag Editor it's difficult to see that the descriptions of the fields: Album, Artist, Title... are the buttons (apply to all tracks). I've also missed it (look at the posts above - :-) ) - you can see it only while you move your mouse over the buttons. But they still stay looking like the buttons when you move your mouse outside them. So you can have eg. three buttons up and three down (flat).

2. While you use the above "Apply to all tracks" buttons - the list of the tracks on the left side in Tag Editor doesn't refresh automatically.

3. The same like in the previous point - while you apply after using the CDDB - the list doesn't refresh.

4. (new bug) - while you use "View future file name" and in the file name you use Number [N] -eg. [N]-[A]-T] you see in the panel:
01 01-Artist-Track.mp3
instead of
01-Artist-Track.mp3
(twice the number)

5. Something very strange. While you want to use local CDDB in Tag Editor and the local database doesn't exist you:
- using Polish language - get the error with the translated into Polish information: "Nie znaleziono 1a107713" (Not found 1a107713)
- using Polish language - get the error with the information: "?????? '% ' ??????? ??? ??????????? ? ????????." !!!
Don't you like English? :-)

Well, the Polish translation (code page) is OK :-)
1. It's really OK ;-)
2. Let's suppose I want to have titles of the files like: [[N]_[A]_[L]_[T]
I go to my drive and choose properties of the first track.
I change the Album and press the button to apply to all tracks - nothing happens :-(
I change the Artist - press Apply to all - nothing :-(
I press (without changing) Apply to all on the Title buton (I know it's stupid cause every track should have different title ;-) ) - and... for the first time I have a question if I want to apply to all and - nothing :-(
I change one letter in the title and press Apply to all again - and now it changes then and refresh the list ;-)

3. It's OK :-)
4. It's OK :-)
5. I think you've misunderstood me. The Polish information... was OK - now it's not - it's English :-(
But the English one (by my mistake I wrote twice Polish in my previous post - sorry) is still wrong and looks like that:
"?????? '% ' ??????? ??? ??????????? ? ????????."

Another bug - When I press ENETR on the track to play it - I get an Application error:

Code: Select all

Exception EAcessViolation in module TOTALCMD.EXE at 00000000.
Access violation at adress 00000000. read address 00000000.
It apears again and again and again.... until I press OK.
