@ghisler(Author):
Can we expect this feature in the next version of TC and the standalone Lister?

At the moment nothing has been decided yet. The problem is that the lister configuration dialog is already terribly full...

IMHO, that hasn't to do with Lister configuration - it's just another entry in the main menu under Options. :?

@ghisler(Author): (comments from all users are welcome :) )
If you also don't want another entry in main menu's Options section, please give us users a solution with INI-entries.

Actually there's the shortcut <F> for "Fit image to window". The according INI-entry is ShrinkBitmap=0/1.

What about an entry FitImage as combination (sum) of the following flags:

1: CenterImage ---> centers image in window
2: ShrinkImage ---> shrinks large image to window
4: EnlargeImage ---> enlarges small image to window

So FitImage=3 centers all images, shrinks large images and doesn't resize small images (should be default, IMO).
The shortcut <F> will remain, and toggles between unformatted view and "FitImage".

This would also be great for standalone LISTER.EXE

:) Hello !
- Your proposal sounds good, I support it !
- You know that I'm an "INI-Entries" supporter, even elsewhere ;)

I agree, having the image centered is better than to have it in the top left hand corner. Besides having the option to center with 'C', an INI setting that sets general behaviour would simply complement this.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

@ghisler(Author):
Christain, please tell us that you'll build in the requested feature from 4 posts above - at least comment it.
Thanks in advance.

OK, this should be easy to add - just one of them (shrink just larger) could be even added to the lister's menu (as requested), but all 3 would be a bit many menu options, right?
