List of commands that supports parameters

Well thanks for the trust...

Please check the changes. I have created a snapshot of the page and tagged it with the current version.
It is all about the process.... it would be just sufficient before adding any command for TC 11, for example, to make a simple change and tag it with the old version number ex. 10.52
Now in the version history we have TC 10.52

Actually @White you already had a snapshot like this.... and I find your comment = tag better than mine
well then my contribution is only about the reference and suggestion for the users to use the version history page

also from my records, which I have from an old Russian collection the cm_Edit works only with parameters...
(it could very well be the case we are putting a different meaning on the "parameters" term )
this is a hint for @Petermad as well

Sorry for giving a wrong solution. It's cm_List which supports a filename as parameter not cm_Edit.

It has nothing to do with trust. It's the purpose of the wiki that everyone can make changes. Everyone is encouraged to contribute.
The TC version at the top is indeed much more clear than what I had done. I will remove my reference in the table caption.

I have updated the wiki page List of internal commands to comply with the commands of TC 11.01

I also changed the notation of parameters and modifiers, moved some notes at the top to the bottom of the page, and changed a number of descriptions. If you see anything wrong, please let me know.

Since there nowhere in TC is a place where you can get an overview of the internal commands that supports parameters, I have compiled this list:

Thanks - added those, and added the history where they are mentioned. cm_Vis* was already there - shown independently for all the cm_Vis* commands.

But maybe is not worth maintaining this list, since it is in the Help now, which it wasn't when I started the list.

But maybe the history list is helpful, it often gives more details than the Help

The wiki page was already up-to-date. Note that using notations like cm_*ByName prevents users from finding the command. For example, when they search for "cm_SrcByName" to find out if that command accepts parameters. This is also true for TC's help, searching for "cm_SrcByName" finds nothing.

But maybe is not worth maintaining this list, since it is in the Help now, which it wasn't when I started the list.

It's in the Help, but I think hard to find for people.
