Delete the first file in a column (in Brief view)

OMG, do you still have Windows Commander version 3.01? What year was that released? And it is still working?

if I delete the topmost file of the leftmost column, then the columns are scrolled 1 column to the right (the scroll slider moves to the left)

What happens is that the cursor is moved to the item below the one which is being deleted. This item was one position below the top, so TC sets the top entry to the one above it. Since this is in the column to the left, that column gets scrolled into view. Trying to prevent this isn't easy, it would require rewriting of some central Total Commander functions. I don't want to do this in a minor update, it can cause a lot of negative side effects, sorry.
