The same I saw with German.
The up-to-date German language file has fitting strings, check the download link above.... ;)

Anyway, I agree. I suggest the following strings in the English language file which will allow a wider box (and more consistent naming):

54=&Selection menu appears
55=right next of current file
56=at mouse cursor
100=docked right of current file
101=docked in opposite panel
102=centered in TC window

Edit:
rolandd, you have deleted your request while I was brewing a fresh can of coffee, that's not nice... ;)

Yes, I am a little confused :roll: Keep brewing, the beans are back ;)

Will edit the request again ;) Since I found another string that does not fit. Yes, after I checked the new download link I saw German fits also. That is when I figured it was not needed.

One thing I cannot seem to figure out is "Action after cancelling selection menu". I have multiple files selected. When I choose "Break and open the processed files" it always cancels completely when I press ESC on the selection menu. When I choose "Break and cancel all selections" exactly the same thing happens pressing ESC. Choosing "Skip current file and continue with next" works OK when you have multiple files selected with different extensions. If I select multiple files with the same extension and cancel it always cancels completely, regardless of my setting. The selection menu shows then e.g. *.lng instead of the first filename.

Is this by design? It sure is confusing to me.

I have problems with some older programs (two 16 bit programs and one win32s program). They all don't work with F4Menu - but work OK in ChoiceEditor.

It is most likely a filename problem. Would it be possible to have an option: "Use 8.3 filenames, when available" in the general setup, or if that is not possible, then a "Use 8.3 filenames" option for each editor?

I have a request: Could it be possible to add a third option to the Open Mode = 2 - Open only file under cursor :?:

Can anyone confirm this:

When pressing F4 on any file on UNC path, F4Menu displays the message
Please use Total Commander shortcut key F4 to launch F4Menu.
You can set it by Configuration -> Options -> Edit/View -> Editor for F4.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Confirm!
But Editor is set in configuration file:

Editor=Path\F4menu.exe

and work fine in other situations.
My Best Wishes,

Happy new year everyone!
Sorry for long time silence, my son was born last year, I looked after the lovely baby and had no time to update this tool in the last several month.
Now I'm back here :), I'll fix some minor bugs and release 0.15 final soon.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Guys

how do you do that I have set f4menu as it should be set (internal viewer) but now, when I want to use the plugin configure feature in pluginmanager I get an error message from f4menu and no editor is found
