but in my system, using Total7zip the datetime is not corrent.
If so, the old 7zip plugins will have the same result, then I no need to fix it. but...

Configuration -> Display -> Sorting directories

Default setting is

(*) Always by name ( ) Like files (also by time)

then you will not see the bug.

In my ini, I set it to

Using 7z File Manager (or Total7zip), if the pack file is using by Office or some other application, the action of the packing will abort automatically. 7zip 0.7.6.2 will have an error message Write Error.

Now using 7zip 0.7.6.3, it will try to read the file, and if the file is locked by another application, a dialog box will show up, just like using internal zip packer, and you can Retry after close the application, or Cancel the packing task without Write Error message.

Can you add a hint to be able to remember the password. Some months or years after having crypted with Z-z plugin, I can't sometimes remember my password.
I'd like have the ability to add to the archive a little text related to the password which would remember me it.
Possible in a next release ?

2Tomyboy : because I did nothing, just add the plugin API function and return TC that 7zip support background pack/unpack.
I did the test to pack two directories and unpack two 7z archives simultaneously, and they all worked. I do not know if there is some problem, so I add (experimental)

the password will save in 7zip.ini and
[v] Show password in plain text
the password will show in plain text.

and for myself, I don't use password,
I'm also afraid of password forgetting
