Re-"uploaded"/Encoded. Noticed a transparency issue with the 48x48 8bit icon, and a slight "bump" near the top edge on the 256x256 - that wasn't overtly visible in GFIE, but clearly seen in IrfanView with a purple background.
*BLINK* TC9 Added WM_COPYDATA and WM_USER queries for scripting.

Seems that the .RAR archive is corrupted. I can decode the archive, but I can't extract it. Too bad you didn't include a recovery record, so I can't even repair the problem. Can you please re-upload the file to a file sharing site, if not then make a new pastebin.com document and copy the stuff there.
Maybe it's just me, I don't know, but file is damaged :(

Modified original post, but here's the link on my server, tc-newIcon.ico

Rightclick, and choose save-as. Seems like Opera and possibly other browsers will attempt to view .ico files.

Note, I highly doubt it was a corrupted rar, more likely the encode/paste/copy/save routine, when I just checked it (before removing it from the post) The "decoded" rar was 95% different from the original rar. Only the header and a little beyond that was the same at all.

Note to Ghisler and other detractors:
The reason for requesting a 256x256 icon is that Windows will use that icon and scale it back for any size thats larger than the previous largest sized icon. E.g. 96 or 128 etc. The resistance I see to some ideas and requests on this board boggles my mind. I'm not even an artist, just a coder that has learned how to utilize various icon/image tools.

To get a decent 256 icon I used IrfanView, ImageAnalyzer for various filters (generally it's "Increase Local Contrast" filter) and then GFIE to clean it up, apply some more filters, fix the transparency and generate multiple icon sizes.
