The thing is, to printing on t-shirts its many ways of doing it.

One way is to do raster.. And raster is the same technique as printed brochures are done. 4 colors with small diamonds of colors separated. But a raster for t-shirt prints the diamonds have to be bigger and would not look 100% good.. My opinion.

But to do a 4 or 5 full color prints its better quality as its a full block one color screen when its printed.

I speaking about the disk. When colors are faded its needs to be raster print and with a filled color its a block print.

So what do you guys think?

I don't know. That design really hurt my eyes so basically I'm with qda and Matthias030 about the design.

qda wrote:No offense to anyone, but the designs are a bit cheesy and not 'tight' enough for such an awesome and hilarious slogan. I think it should be dead simple, and reflect the minimalist nature of TC (ie. no frills, just what you need):

I want to remember what Christian wrote:
ghisler(Author) wrote:Maybe we should just collect some designs in the Wiki, so everyone can go to a T-Shirt shop and have printed what he likes? At least here in Switzerland, you can find such shops in most larger towns...
I also think that it makes no sense to find the "one and only design" which suits all users. And I don't believe that Christian is in the mood of creating a TC-merchandising-department.

Maybe he should consider it. Since starwars, many movies earn more money from merchandising than tickets. Maybe TC can too :)

Peter your right in one sense, i spoke to Christian before i posted the first t-shirt/logo designs here on the forum. I was asking him if he was interested to do something about it. And he replayed to me he was not interested to do something himself and i should ask on the this thread if someone wanted.

I have my own factory and if we the communality could get enough orders on many designs but a minimum of 50 on each designs i can do it.

And if we can see a market in this we can with ease get Christian in a sweet deal on marketing and so he can make a profit on it!.

I had a look to day to send ONE shirt from here (indonesia) its super expensive. As they charge per kilo. And one shirt is 0.15 Kilo + a little (packing) and that's more than making the shirts here. Hehe. So sending less then 7 shirt would cost 25 dollars when i could sell one shirt for 10 dollars.

Anyway.. So if someone was interested in wholesaling i can do it!..

Have you checked the rate for a letter instead of a package? In most countries, "letters" can become quite large, so they can easily contain a T-Shirt.

Btw, I have shopped various times directly in Asia (mostly Hong Kong, China and Japan), and the total price is still much lower that comparable goods would cost here (but it was for things you couldn't get here at all).

I just had a look by myself, not sending my staff. Just so i could ask if its any other way of sending that would make it cheaper. But it did not change anything. 25 Dollars is up to 1 kilo, That is the local post. What did change was one shirt with a paper packing its 0.347 grams. So that would make about 3 shirts for one kilo.
But on the way back i run in to a friend and we started to speak about this and he asked me something that im now asking to you guys. How much would it cost to send from example from Switzerland or Germany to America or Sweden for the same weight! He guesses more expensive. My friend is German. Im Swedish but i have not been there for over 10 years plus. I have no clue!.

From Denmark to other EU countries it would be 53 DKK (9$ or 7€) and to other countries it would be 75 DKK (12$ or 10€)

People are lazy and often just want to click and have it delivered. Besides, merchandise could be a good next step for TC! I would dig a TC mug :D

Here's my design without the period: Image: http://imgur.com/sEFgc.jpg
This one is my favourite except that I would remove the Total Commander writing at all - the slogan is worthless unless you know TC anyway.
And I'd prefer the new TC icon. And here's a big request for petermad:
Don't you have higher resolution (or vector) version of the TC icon? IIRC 256x256 existed, but that's still little.
