Sparse file support

The problem is there with existing sparse files and any sparse file.
It doesn't work with any method, but it you use CopyFile2 with sparse file support and MS fixed the bugs, then you have big improvement.
I still don't understand what makes it worse with CopyFile2 and that you disabled it.
