AFTER making the change to Unicode
A very good decision
It's really difficult to estimate how complex Unicode implementation is so all other big changes have to wait.

I also totally agree. Unicode support is a vital feature and should be priorized.

Yes to both:
(1) Implementation of full Unicode support first
(2) Implementation of burning support second

Sounds great.
CD/DVD burning is important, but Unicode is even more important.

Oh, wow, we have the chance for both options!
In then meantime for burning there are still the existing plugins.

Recently I'm using "ONES" to burn. Very handy and powerful, small and free.

@neo007:
A bit short, your posting. Could you give any additional information about "ONES"?
Edit: Do you mean Ones by
http://www.tx-software.com/ ? This costs approx. € 20.

Wilhelm

You're right, i've tested Ones time ago, it's similar to Nero or DiscJuggler but with less features, furthermore it's easy to use & driverless.
But as you said it's Shareware and AFAIK not SDK so that it's useless for Tc.

Solution idea for the newbies:
Have two installation files one with the plug-in,
and one without it.
I mean only if it's not to much work to maintain 2 installation files for each release.

Finally... Thanks
Btw, I highly support writing CDs.
