there's a old problem whit this plug...

if inside a big archive (like iso's), when compiling a LST
the plugin NEEDS to unpack!!!

it's a way to fix this?

BTW this is a great work, thanks!

sorry for my bad english...

the problem is simple:

when TC shows files of an archive (zip rar iso...) and i want to create a .LST of contents of this archive (all selected),
the plugin need to extract the files before creating lst file...

For large archives this is a quite tediously...

it's clear now? (i hope)

My plugin is unable to actually unpack anything - the unpacking is done by TC.
You do not need to be inside rar, zip, iso, etc. to list its contents. For example if you want to create list of files in cd1.iso, get cursor over this file (but do not press enter), press Alt+F5 and select my plugin's extension (lst by default). That is all. And there will be no actual unpacking of cd1.iso.

Thanks for the trick!!

Yet one little thing...;)

when selecting one iso,s the result namefile is <nameiso>.lst
with other types of archive (zip rar...) get <namedir>.lst

Preferably, when select only one archive, get a <namearchive>.lst

regards
max

You are welcome, but that is the way how it was always supposed to work...
That naming is standard function of TC... When you "pack" only one file, the default file name is <archivename>, when more files, then <namedir>. You can change the name before "packing" to whatever you want.

yes, with one iso archive the name is <archivename>.lst
but, not if (one) archive is rar,zip..etc (in this case the file name NOT are <archivename>.lst but (wrongly?) <namedir>.lst

as workaround for this behaviour:

after pressed Alt+F5, check option [Create separate archives...]
the resultant filename will be <arcname>.ext.lst

@TrePe:

Why not add (in next release) option checks like this:

[] Select all filetypes
[] Deselect all filetypes

useful (i think...)

Is it only me or "Download" link on totalcmd.net does really point to picture?

Thank you for update :)
I`m going to test.
A sample ini-file in the archive would be nice indeed.

I confirm. Download link follows to png-file. The link in the first post of this thread is right indeed. You can download new version there.

That's what I did but I know other people might not find it and complain :)

Oh, should be fixed now on totalcmd.net.
The (updated) ini file is created automatically when you click OK in the plugin's settings.
