But if TC is going to natively use FoxBurner, there's no need to do the work. So could you tell me what's the status of those deliberations?
I support idea that you continue developing your plugin! I don't think mr. Ghisler will otherwise do it faster, he have other things todo in list.

Has anyone considered the open-source Delphi package: freeburner? sourceforge / website / article

Lack of contributions and help was another reason
I think creating your own forum was not really a good idea. The TC forum is the place to discuss TC related stuff.

In addition there have been many TCBurner related posts here without any reply from you. Anyway it's good to see thing have been reanimated.
Well, I cannot "guarantee" anything in this regard, but I'll sure do more than nothing.
Well I don't know if this is enough to push an external solution prior to an internal solution.

BTW: Do you use two usernames- if yes why :?:

Well my forum worked quite okay, but at some point even the beta testers stopped contributing, which didn't improve my willingness to invest more time in the project at that time. :)

I leave that up to you really... I don't really feel like making the project shareware (as to get some money from it), and for a free project I don't wish to give any guarantee that I have enough time to do "a specific amount of" coding work. I have a job and stuff you know... :) If a "progress guarantee" is required, then I'd say "sorry but you need to go with TC internal burning support" at the moment. Hence my deliberation to make it a cooperative project.

I also hope to get some feedback from Chris Ghisler about the deinitialization problem too - before that is solved (by adding a "FsDeinit" call to the plugin interface) continuation of coding work isn't possible anyway. Except everyone wishes to kill the TC process after using the burner, which I doubt. :)

Hm, good question, username should be "Loc2262", I use that because on most forums "Locutus" is already taken. :) I tried that name when I made my post a few days ago, and it worked, so it should be the correct one.

Hi,

It's a good news to hear some word from you. :-)
I hope you'll decide to continue your good job.

I remember your forum worked (I also used to send my suggestions, discovered errors and translations) but most people would prefer to write here. Just try to imagine that every author of plugins has his own forum... there are over 500 plugins (not including other TC tools).

Good point. :)

When the project continues, we can use this forum for it.

I think the best solution would be not only to buy the SDK from your company, but also your plugin source from you, so I can build it into Total Commander. This would give me a very good starting point, but also allow me to integrate it better into TC than it can be done with external plugins. Of course it would be a non-exclusive licence, and your code would remain non-public. What do you think? Of course we would have to negociate on the price too.

I agree that this would be a good solution. :)

If you'd like we can do further planning regarding the source code privately? I also have some good news from the Foxburner boss regarding the SDK.
