Total Commander

in old version of TC I could use the parent dir item ".." and then context menu -> properties to get a raw listing of the directory.

This was very helpful to see where links point to, what user or group the file/dir was owned by.

Any chance to get it back? Any other way to get this listing?

Hmm, it gets even worse... in a ftp item -> context menu -> properties I get the listing, but there I'd expect the rwx attribute dialog.

It has always been like that.

The context menu for [..] was changed to that of the directory or removed entirely because it was causing problems and even crashes with some special folders...
