I accidentally pressed Ctrl+F keyboard shortcut in Synchronize Directories window and discovered that it selects all files in current folder.
1) It is not documented in help.
2) It does not work for root folder.
3) I would also added it to context menu.

Strange it's Ctrl+A here not Ctrl+F.

Ctrl+A selects all the files; Ctrl+F - all files in the same directory only.

Hm, doesn't work here, too.

CTRL+A works as expected.

I can remember that Ctrl-F selects all files in same directory, it has been mentioned in history.txt IIRC. Yep, here is it:
30.06.04 Added: Some more shortcuts to synchronize dirs, see right click menu. Shortcuts not listed there: Ctrl+A select all, Ctrl+F seelct all in current dir

Strange, at first try it didn't work. Now it does again...

Edit: Yep, it doesn't work in the root, it can only mark files in the same subdirectory.

Thanks for the info, CTRL+F works as you described! :)

@Valentino:
Please change topic title to
[REQ] Directory Sync: Support Ctrl-F also in root

Otherwise I am forced to create another thread. ;)

Done! :)
I also mentioned in the first post that Ctrl-F does not work for root folder.

I missed that feature in sync tool too:
exclude the hole sub-dir from synchronizing.

In Sync tool:
Ctrl+A select all files of one panel.
Ctrl+F select all files of current sub-dir.
Ctrl+F followed by Ctrl+M exclude the sub-dir by unmark all files.

WinXP, TC 7.01

Support to add an context menu entry like "Select hole sub - Ctrl+F"

Ahh, thanks Valentino for that hind, very nifty.

Support++ for fixing all three points. Additionally:
4) recursively selecting files of actual and all sub-folders would be very nice (maybe with Shift-Ctrl-F)

(Especially in the help it would be very helpful - it just took me several searches here to find the info, what hotkey was used for this function...)
[key words for searching here: synchronize directories dirs select all files in same folder directory]
