[implemented] *.*|*.*\ as file mask hides all directories
In TC7pb3 using *.*|*.*\ as a file mask hides all directories - this doesn't happen in TC 6.56 - is it a feature or a bug?

But it works without any tree views at all (like Full View in both panels and no separate tree views enabled).(for a file window used with tree view)
It is impossible to navigate anywhere but up dir with this mask enabled - but I guess it can have its uses.

It's indeed a new feature which was added to work with separate trees.

No, it's not a bug. It may be useful also when using a tree in the other file panel, or for some special printing needs.

It would be nice if it worked on ftp panels too...
So this is a bug report now :
Try to filter a normal file panel or a fs plugin with this filter:This doesnt work in an ftp panel.

Yes, and this is intentional. Why? FTP does not show any subfolders in the tree. Therefore such a filter would make it impossible to navigate through ftp folders.

I dont ever use any folder tree. Never. But I often filter my views in the panels. If I want to navigate, I press ctrl-F10 and navigate. But then i land in my favourite logs directory on the ftp server, and see 1243 log archive folders, 5256 logfiles from different systems, and I want to filter big time. And I cannot blend out the directories! Aaaarrgh.
