Could it be that the latest Universal View, Xbaseview Free_7.3.0697 and TC 7 Beta2 don't work together?
[mod]Thread split from
Universal Viewer (ATViewer) - Lister alternative .

Just checked: UV works OK with XBaseView both 8.0 Beta and 7.3 Free. With Total Commander there shoudn't be problems too...

Just checked it again, i can't view correct an MS-Access mdb file. It only shows me the file like a text file. The xbase plugin is added in the UV plugin dialog.

Can you see by XBaseView other file types? For example DBF. I checked with DBF, works ok here.

You should ask XBV author, why other file types are not shown. This is XBV issue.

Anyone knows how to stop the following:
I use xbase plugin to open xls files, which works perfect. But when closing lister window I get an oopen dialog that seems to get started by ieview. I tried the settings of ieview - disabling xls files, but somehow it still gets a hold of them, after xbase
