It's yet implemented Start Lister and load file with internal viewer (no plugins or multimedia) ALT+SHIFT+F3, before loading the file, but it isn't implemented FROM lister window.
Now it's possible to change the pluging for viewing the file in lister window, but not changing to the internal viewer.
It would be in options menu -> 8-Internal file lister.

Can't you can just press 1, 2 or 3 - those three views are all handled by the internal Lister. Press 4 to use plugin, and repeat pressing 4 to toggle between plugisn.

Well. patxito asked for the same functionality as when using ALT+SHIFT+F3.
When you use ALT+SHIFT+F3 on for example an image you get the same view as pressing 1.
But I can support a request for disabeling plugins temporarily - but then I would like two options for multimedia:
8 - Use IrfanView/XnView (if installed)
9 - Use Listers own image view (if any)

You are right! I have missed the Alt+Shift+F3 in his post.
But generally it would be very convenient to have the option to "switch back" to the internal lister, if needed. At present, once a file has been opened with a plugin there is no way to go back to the lister EVEN if the lister has the capability to show the file(e.g. rtf, bmp...). Pressing "4" cycles through the plugins but never returns to the lister.

No matter of how, but there would be a way for viewing a loaded file in lister with the internal viewer.
